Right off the bat, I want to give credit where it’s due. This article is inspired by a video from YouTuber Nathaniel Drew on the same topic.

With that out of you, I now speak directly to you Varun.

How are you doing? I’m writing this to you at 22 years of age, hoping you’ve finally figured it out.

I’m not sure what ‘it’ means or if anyone ever figures it out but I do hope that your life is better than mine is right now.

Life for us in the past 22 years hasn’t been easy, there’s been a lot of pain and trauma involved. I hope we’ve healed by the time we get to 25.

Mental Health

We’ve been broken by the people closest to us. Our trust has been shattered by those who swore to protect it.

But life isn’t about what happens to you, it’s about how you deal with it.

As I write this, I’m dealing with childhood trauma, a dying relationship, and a growing sense of loneliness. Those closest to me have hurt me the most.

Everyone I’ve ever let in fully has trampled over my heart.
