Yep, it could be easy to wrote off both being tops in cost of living for the US as "you get what you pay for." (WA being #1 economy in US annually and Hawaii being... well, it's like living inside a postcard.)
That said, crime is spiking in WAand Hawaii only has so much land, being an island chain state. 🤷♂️🤞
