I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I last published on Medium.
It feels good to be writing here again.
I think the catalysts for my disappearance from here were:
I write so much content already at my job. I’m a ghostwriter for founders and CEOs at a personal branding agency in the UK. I write approximately 50 LinkedIn posts every week, so I’m often too creatively drained to write long-form articles for myself. I know — what a pity.
I hate to admit it, but my attention span has drastically reduced in recent years. I cannot get myself to write or read 800–1000+ words, even without an all-consuming job. I still consume a lot of podcasts, books, and videos, but just written content doesn’t cut it for me anymore.
Nevertheless, let me keep this piece focused on my complex relationship with the UK.
